[Whirl] Bern Brentwood Helmet?

I'm replacing my 12 year old Bell Metro helmet as I wait for medical
clearance to get back on the bike (I had 2-level spinal fusion four weeks
ago). 

 

I'm considering the Bern Brentwood, but am wondering how it will be in the
summer, as it has fewer vents than my Bell and their Allston. It's hard to
guess how it will sit while on my trike (TerraTrike Rambler, which has me
sitting up). FWIW, Bern is the only brand I've found large enough to fit.
