Thanks for your inquiry and interest.
I saw your other posting on WHIRL but scratched my head.
I’ll explain that later.
We were the first Catrike dealer and have represented them since they
started.
In those 24 years I think we have sold 4 700’s and 2 came back on trade.
We do have a very rare Catrike Speed we’ve been saving despite attempts
from Catrike to buy it back.
Same racing seat angle but
the 451 rear wheel is stronger yet lighter than the 700.
It provides a lower center of gravity , accelerates faster, gives a more
nimble ride , and goes up hills much easier, as well as being easier to
store and fit in your car.
The head scratch?
Have you considered a lightweight fast 2 wheel recumbent?
At last month’s Recumbent Cycle Con in Ohio I was selected to present the
seminar on two wheeling again.
The reception indicated they are by no means going away.
If you’re considering ‘ riding with the group’ or anywhere near vehicles,
it will be far less awkward mixing in , faster, easier to tote, and place
your eyeballs above not below the average car fender.
Even with flags and bright lights, The low POV reduces your field of vision
to a narrow wedge instead of the normal hemisphere.
That said, if you have any hind of compromised balance and cannot in any
way afford a fall, the trike is for you.
I suggest visiting our store for some test rides and for proving or
disproving any concepts.
Let me know if you need any more info
Regards
Larry
